CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 24-051 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />ECOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br />AND APPROVING A RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT AND PARTNERSHIP PLEDGE WITH <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County works with residents and partner organizations to protect and restore <br />habitat through conservation easements and habitat restoration projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village has identified Silver Point Park and Central Park as <br />meeting the requirements for a restoration project partnership with Hennepin County; and <br />WHEREAS, staff created an Ecological Improvement Plan which was reviewed at the Saint Anthony <br />Village Parks & Environmental Committee on June 3, 2024 meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will enter into a Right of Entry Agreement and a Partnership Pledge with <br />Hennepin County to proceed with a partnership for a habitat restoration project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1) The City Council approves the Saint Anthony Ecological Improvement Plan, and <br />2) The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign a Right of Entry agreement and <br />Partnership Pledge with Hennepin County for a habitat restoration project on behalf of the City of <br />St. Anthony Village. <br />Adopted this �31 day of July, 2024. <br />ATTEST( <br />Jennifer Doyle, City�Clerk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />�t�`GUL w 14 <br />Wendy Webster, Mayor <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
