WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2021A (9420B) in the amount of 112,157.42 is cancelled <br />and will be levied at a reduced amount of 99,657.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand <br />to cover the debt service payment; and <br />WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2022A (9421) in the amount of 191,364.97 is cancelled <br />and will be levied at a reduced amount of 1,364.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand to <br />cover the debt service payment; and <br />WHEREAS, the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 10, 2024, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1)The Preliminary 2024 Property Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy $6,396,944 <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 428,200 <br /> Debt Service Levy $1,458,695 <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 209,414 <br /> Building Improvement Levy $ 115,500 <br /> Infrastructure Levy $ 1,103,486 <br /> Park Improvement Levy $ 30,000 <br /> $9,742,239 <br />2)The preliminary 2025 General Fund Operating Budget totals $10,217,026 <br />Adopted this 10th day of September, 2024. <br /> _________________________________ <br /> Wendy Webster, Mayor <br />ATTEST: _________________________ <br /> Jennifer Doyle, City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: _________________________________ <br /> Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />40
