23 <br /> <br />Oiler/distributor <br />Sweeper <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br />STEP E <br /> <br />Minimum Requirements: <br /> <br />- Meets or exceeds all the minimum requirements of Public Works Maintenance II - Step D <br /> <br />- Minimum of one (1) year experience at Step D <br /> <br />- Ability to lead a three (3)-person crew <br /> <br />- Ability to perform all duties related to assigned division <br /> <br />- Qualified to operate all equipment required to perform assigned duties <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE III <br />MECHANIC AND WATER/SEWER DIVISIONS <br /> <br />Minimum Requirements: <br /> <br />- Meets or exceeds all the minimum requirements of Public Works Maintenance II <br /> <br />- Ability to supervise a work crew <br /> <br />- Ability to assist in the training of division employees <br /> <br />- Ability to maintain all division records as required <br /> <br />Divisions: <br /> <br />Mechanic Ability to repair and maintain all City equipment <br /> <br />Water/Sewer Ability to operate and maintain all water and sewer facilities and equipment; <br />including televising equipment, sewer rodder and backhoe; must have Minnesota <br />Class B water and Class C sewer licenses <br /> <br />MOVEMENT THROUGH THE SYSTEM: <br /> <br />A. Public Works Director and Supervisor conduct evaluation with checklist to determine whether or <br />not an individual is qualified to move to the next appropriate step and then so inform the <br />employee. <br /> <br />B. If employee disagrees with decision with justification, the employee should contact the Assistant <br />to the City Manager/Management Assistant. <br /> <br />C. The Assistant to the City Manager/Management Assistant will examine both sides and make a <br />recommendation to the City Manager who in turn will make a determination. <br /> <br />D. The employee may also utilize the formal grievance procedure included in the Public Works
