ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 24-093 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />2025 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the engineering firm of WSB has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of. <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br />• Macalaster Drive from 39' Ave to Railroad <br />Mill and Overlay <br />• 39'i' Avenue NE from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br />• 30' Avenue NE from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br />• Armour Terrace from Roosevelt Street NE to Silver Lake Road <br />• Murray Avenue from Roosevelt Street NE Coolidge Street NE <br />• 29' Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Highway 88 <br />• Roosevelt Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 30' Avenue NE <br />• Wilson Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 30'h Avenue NE <br />• Coolidge Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 29' Avenue NE <br />• Anthony Lane N from 29' Avenue NE to Cul-de-sac <br />Central Park Improvements <br />• Removal and replacement of the existing bituminous trail <br />• Removal and replacement of the existing basketball court surface <br />_Pedestrian Safety Improvements <br />• Installation of the pedestrian refuge to enhance the existing pedestrian crossing on Silver <br />Lake Road at 341 Avenue NE. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1.) Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. <br />2.) Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. <br />3.) The consulting engineering firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br />Finance and Commerce, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two times, shall specify the <br />work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened on or about February 1, 2025, and bids will be <br />considered by the City Council. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of <br />the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, <br />bid bond, or certified check payable to the City of St. Anthony Village for Five (5%) percent of the <br />amount of such bid. <br />
