<br />Solutions Continued <br />Scope of Work (SOW) <br /> <br />Phase 1: Identify and Prioritize Public Grant Opportunities (Estimate: 10-15 Hours) <br />Objective: To systematically identify and rank public grant opportunities that align with the funding <br />needs of St. Anthony Village for its public safety initiatives. <br />Activities: <br />1. Research and Identification: <br /> Conduct a comprehensive review of available public grant programs, including FEMA’s <br />Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) COPS Office <br />Grants, state-level public safety grants, bonding bill allocations, and disaster relief funding. <br /> Highlight grant programs that provide incentives for energy efficiency enhancements, <br />which can aid in reducing the carbon footprint. <br />2. Prioritization Criteria: <br /> Develop criteria for evaluating the likelihood of success for each identified grant <br />opportunity based on factors such as funding availability, alignment with project goals, <br />application complexity, and past funding trends. <br /> Prioritize grants that show the highest potential for funding success to create a targeted <br />funding roadmap that maximizes available resources. <br />3. Engagement with Stakeholders: <br /> Coordinate with municipal departments and community stakeholders to gather input on <br />funding needs and to ensure all relevant public safety initiatives are considered. <br />Outcome: A prioritized list of public grant opportunities mapped out with associated details, <br />enabling the city to strategically pursue funding from the most promising sources. <br />Phase 2: Develop a Strategic Grant Application Plan & Final Report (Estimate 8-10 hours) <br />Objective: To create a structured plan for applying to selected public grants and final report for <br />presentation to Town Council that will position St. Anthony Village for success in securing funding. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5 <br />32
