CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 25-019 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL REVENUE FUND <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony recognizes the need to efficiently manage certain revenues <br />designated for specific purposes, and; <br />WHEREAS, the establishment of a special revenue fund will enhance the accountability and <br />transparency of these funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the revenues from transfer from general fund tax revenue, federal, state and local grants, <br />federal funds, charges for services to partner cities and any other sources designated by <br />the City of St. Anthony, will provide funding for providing policing services to the City <br />of St. Anthony and its partner cities; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Anthony Village that the council <br />approvesthe <br />1. Establishment of Special Revenue Fund <br />The City of St. Anthony hereby establishes a special revenue fund titled St. Anthony Police Fund <br />for the purpose of accounting for revenues and expenses related to providing policing services. <br />2. Funding Sources <br />The fund will receive revenues from transfer from general fund tax revenue, federal, state and <br />local grants, federal funds, charges for services to partner cities and any other sources designated <br />by the City of St. Anthony. <br />Use of Funds <br />Monies in the special revenue fund shall be used solely for accounting for policing services and <br />shall be subject to all applicable laws and regulations. <br />4. Administration <br />The finance department shall be responsible for the administration of the special revenue fund, <br />including the tracking of revenues and expenditures, ensuring compliance with all legal and <br />regulatory requirements. <br />5. Reporting <br />The finance department shall provide regular reports to the City of St. Anthony regarding the <br />financial status of the special revenue fund, including revenues received and expenditures made. <br />6. Effective Date <br />This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption retroactive to <br />l/l/2025. <br />
