ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 25-023 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE <br />2025 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of: <br /> <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br />• Macalaster Drive from 39th Ave to Railroad <br /> <br />Mill and Overlay <br />• 39th Avenue NE from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br />• 30th Avenue NE from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br />• Armour Terrace from Roosevelt Street NE to Silver Lake Road <br />• Murray Avenue from Roosevelt Street NE Coolidge Street NE <br />• 29th Avenue NE from Silver Lake Road to Highway 88 <br />• Roosevelt Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 30th Avenue NE <br />• Wilson Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 30th Avenue NE <br />• Coolidge Street NE from St. Anthony Boulevard to 29th Avenue NE <br />• Anthony Lane N from 29th Avenue NE to Cul-de-sac <br /> <br />Miscellaneous Construction <br />• Central Park <br />o Removal and replacement of the existing bituminous trail <br />o Removal and replacement of the existing basketball court surface <br />o Installation of new storm sewer along trail to address drainage <br />• Pedestrian Safety Improvements <br />o Installation of the pedestrian refuge to enhance the existing pedestrian <br />crossing on Silver Lake Road at 34th Avenue NE. <br />o Bituminous overlay of existing sidewalk along St. Anthony Bouevard <br />from the south City boundary to the bridge <br />• Replacement of a damaged hydrant at the intersection of Skycroft Drive and <br />Downers Drive <br />o Removal and replacement of existing hydrant <br />o Removal and replacement of concrete roadway pavement <br />o Installation of new valve for future maintenance <br />• Foss Road Lift Station Bypass Improvements <br />o Installation of new force main bypass for future City maintenance. <br /> <br />and the bid price for such an improvement is $2,531,570.55. The total cost of the improvement with <br />contingencies, engineering, legal, and administrative fees will be approximately $3,041,700. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br /> <br />1.) The portion of the cost of the proposed 2025 Street and Utility Improvement Project to be paid by <br />the City is hereby declared to be approximately $2,408,000, and the portion of the cost to be <br />assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be approximately $633,700. <br /> <br />2.) Assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15 years for <br />79
