CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 25-021 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO PROCEED WITH AN <br />APPLICATION FOR A STATE CANNABIS DISPENSARY RETAIL LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota recently started to accept applications for cannabis dispensary <br />retail licensing, and; <br />WHEREAS, Council discussed the option of opening a dispensary at the November 26, 2024 <br />Worksession, and; <br />WHEREAS, determined opening a municipal dispensary would fit the mission of the City by <br />regulating the sale of cannabis, and; <br />WHEREAS, City Staff would like to proceed with the application for a cannabis license, and; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Anthony Village that the council <br />authorizes staff to proceed with an application for a state cannabis dispensary retail license. <br /> . <br />Adopted this 25th day of February, 2025. <br />_______________________________ <br />Wendy Webster, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />_________________________ <br />City Clerk <br />Reviewed for administration:______________________________ <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />17
