Determine the most effective locations for use ordinance in the action shown on the next <br />EV charging stations at public facilities in SAV. Integrate slide. <br />predicted installation expenses into the budget. Identify <br />a vendor and develop an installation plan. More internal discussions are needed regarding a <br />potential policy and installation planning, but <br />identifying possible locations for EV charging at <br />city facilities could be done by end of year. <br />If considering partnerships with privately owned <br />facilities accessible to the public, this would take <br />longer-term planning. <br />Initiative 2 <br />Action Current Status <br />Consider adopting a policy encouraging or requiring new City Council work session happened in Nov 2024 <br />multi-use developments to install EV infrastructure. where an initial discussion took place about what <br />an EV ordinance could look like, how it would <br />apply, and other Council preferences. <br />Planning Commission and City Planner took that <br />feedback to draft an initial EV ordinance included <br />in our work session materials this evening. <br />Tonight's agenda item includes PEC review of the <br />proposed ordinance language! This ordinance <br />language would eventually go back to Planning <br />Commission and Council for review and approval. <br />8
