MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:June 10, 2025 City Council Meeting <br />Request: Approval of resolution approving an off-site gambling permit for the <br />Minneapolis Northeast Lions Club on August 2, 2025, at VillageFest at 3503 <br />Silver Lake Road Northeast <br />BACKGROUND <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution to approve an off-site gambling license on August 2, 2025 for <br />the Minneapolis Northeast Lions Club at VillageFest located at 3503 Silver Lake Rd NE. <br />The organization is applying for an off-site gambling license with the State of Minnesota. A requirement <br />of the State permit application is acknowledgement by the local unit of government and allowance of <br />the gambling to take place within city limits. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of this off-site gambling request. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Application <br />Resolution
