CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 25-042 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR <br />STATE BONDING RELATED TO A PUBLIC SAFETY FACILTY <br />WHEREAS,on February 25, 2025, the City Council approved to authorize staff to proceed <br />with exploring the feasibility of a Public Safety Facility with commitment to <br />explore options to secure as much outside funding as possible; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire and Police Departments are in need of updated facilities to meet existing <br />and future needs, the City will rely on financial assistance to meet these needs; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City will pursue a capital project request for the Public Safety Facility Project <br />to be considered in the state budget; and <br />WHEREAS,the City Council supports the Public Safety Facility Project and has no additional <br />funding requests; and <br />WHEREAS, the City acknowledges that local resources will contribute the project; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Saint Anthony <br />Village, Minnesota authorizes staff to proceed with submitting a request for state bonding for the <br />public safety facility. <br />Approved this 10th day of June, 2025. <br />_________________________________________ <br /> Wendy Webster, Mayor <br />ATTEST:___________________________ <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: _______________________________________ <br /> Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />12
