Page 2 <br />G. “Joint Operations Committee” has the meaning set forth in section X. <br />H. “Policing Services” has the meaning set forth in section IV. <br />I. “Population Ratio” The ratio which a single city's population bears to the population of all <br />participating cities, expressed in percent to the nearest tenth of one percent. <br />III.TERM, TERMINATION, BREACH. <br />A.TERM. The Policing Services to be performed under this Agreement will commence <br />January 1, 2026, and shall continue through December 31, 2030 (“Term”), or until <br />terminated pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement. <br />B.TERMINATION. Either Party may terminate this Agreement for any reason or no reason <br />by written notice of its intention not to renew mailed to an authorized representative of the <br />non-terminating Party no later than two (2) years prior to the expiration of the Term. Upon <br />the expiration or termination of this Agreement, Lauderdale shall only be responsible to <br />pay for the Policing Services rendered prior to the effective date of termination. <br />C.BREACH. Either Party may terminate this Agreement in the event of a material breach of <br />this Agreement by either Party, or any officer, employee, agent or authorized representative <br />as follows. The non-breaching Party shall give the breaching Party a written notice <br />specifying the alleged breach and ninety (90) days to cure the breach. If such breach (if <br />curable) is not cured within such time, the non-breaching Party may terminate the <br />Agreement effective within thirty (30) days upon written notice of termination. <br />IV.SERVICES. <br />St. Anthony, by and through its police department (“SAVPD”) will provide Lauderdale with <br />Policing Services as described herein. Such Policing Services shall be of a caliber identical to those <br />currently provided to persons and property within St. Anthony. <br />Lauderdale agrees that the Principles and Practices of St. Anthony will prevail as the enforcement <br />policies within Lauderdale. A written statement of the current Principles and Practices of St. <br />Anthony shall be provided to Lauderdale prior to the effective date of this Agreement. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, such policing services may include but are not limited to the <br />following: <br />A.Patrol services, with random patrolling of all residential, business and public <br />property areas during all shifts; <br />B.Police presence within the boundaries of Lauderdale 24 hours each day; <br />C.Domestic animal control services by the animal control service employed by St. <br />Anthony; <br />26
