ANTHONY <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />JUNE 17, 2025 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />Chair Socha called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Chair Socha invited the Commission and the audience to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />III. ROLL CALL. <br />Commissioners Present: Chair Socha, Commissioners Corneille, Erickson, and Mayne. <br />Absent: Commissioners Anderson, Hark, and Morita. <br />Also Present: City Planner Stephen Grittman and Assistant City Manager Ashley <br />Morello. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA. <br />Motion by Commissioner Erickson, seconded by Commissioner Corneille, to approve the <br />June 17, 2025, Regular Planning Commission Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES. <br />Motion by Commissioner Erickson, seconded by Commissioner Corneille, to approve the <br />April 15, 2025, Work Session and Regular Planning Commission Meeting Minutes as <br />presented. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />VI. PUBLIC HEARING. <br />A. Ordinance 2025-Ox: Draft — EV Charging. <br />Chair Socha opened the public hearing at 7:05 p.m. <br />City Planner Stephen Grittman reviewed that the City has been considering amendments to the <br />zoning ordinance that would create a baseline requirement for electric vehicle charging in new <br />residential projects. The directions included background from the City Council work session <br />discussions and input from the Parks and Environment Commission. Mr. Grittman provided an <br />ordinance proposal that relies on regulations currently in place in the adjoining communities of <br />
