ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 OCTOBER 28, 2025 <br />4 <br />I.5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Webster called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />II.9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Webster invited the Council and audience to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />III.13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Webster, Councilmembers Lona Doolan, Nadia Elnagdy, Jan Jenson, and <br />16 Thomas Randle. <br />17 <br />18 Absent:None. <br />19 <br />20 Also Present:City Manager Charlie Yunker, Assistant City Manager Ashley Morello, and Police <br />21 Chief Jeff Spiess. <br />22 <br />23 Others Present:None. <br />24 <br />25 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE <br />26 FOLLOWING ITEMS. <br />27 <br />IV.28 APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 28, 2025 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve the City <br />31 Council Meeting Agenda of October 28, 2025, as presented. <br />32 <br />33 Motion carried 5-0. <br />34 <br />V.35 PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />36 <br />A.37 New Officer Swearing In – Gaelan Smith. <br />38 <br />39 Police Chief Spiess provided some background information on Officer Gaelan Smith and <br />40 administered his swearing-in. Photographs were taken. Officer Smith thanked the City of St. <br />41 Anthony for the opportunity to serve. He also thanked his FTOs, the Mpls. Parks Officers, <br />42 family, and his wife. The Councilmembers and Mayor welcomed Officer Smith to the St. <br />43 Anthony Police Department. <br />44 <br />45 VI.CONSENT AGENDA. <br />46 <br />47 A.Approve October 14, 2025, Council Meeting Minutes. <br />48 B.License and Permits. <br />49 C.Claims.
