MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:December 9, 2025 <br />Request: Approving the 2026 Appointments to the Planning Commission and Appointing <br />the Chair and Vice Chair of the Planning Commission <br />BACKGROUND <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution approving the 2026 appointments and appointing the Chair <br />and Vice Chair to the Planning Commission. <br />The Planning Commission application information was advertised in the Fall 2025 Village Notes and on <br />the City’s website. There were two (2) vacancies, and six (6) applications were received. All were <br />interviewed by the Mayor and Council on November 17, 2025. <br />The Mayor and City Council agreed by consensus to appoint Libby Christu and Jeanette Fleming for a <br />three-year appointment along with appointing Meridith Socha as Chair and Barbara Anderson as Vice <br />Chair for 2026. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution 25-078 <br />14
