Councilmember Randle stated that he would not feel comfortable joining a lawsuit. <br />Mayor Webster asked if the Council would support an amicus brief. <br />Mr. Lindgren stated that if the City were to intervene in a lawsuit, it would become a party of the <br />lawsuit, and if there were decisions that could impact the City. He stated that an amicus brief shows <br />support by the City without becoming a party of the lawsuit. He confirmed that there would be no legal <br />liability to the City.
