ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING <br />3 DECEMBER 1, 2025 <br />4 7:00 p.m. <br />5 <br />I.6 CALL TO ORDER. <br />7 <br />8 Chairperson Fee called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 <br />II.10 ROLL CALL. <br />11 <br />12 Commissioners Present:Chair Lily Fee, Commissioners Yaacoub Hark (arrived at 7:08 p.m.), <br />13 Kristen Peterson, Jessica Swiontek. <br />14 <br />15 Absent:Commissioner Natalie Synhavsky. <br />16 <br />17 Also Present: Assistant City Manager Ashley Morello, Sustainability Coordinator <br />18 Minette Saulog, Citizens for Sustainability Representative Dan <br />19 Kunitz, and School Board Representative PJ Striker. <br />20 <br />21 III.APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER 1, 2025, PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />22 COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Commissioner Swiontek, seconded by Commissioner Peterson, to approve the <br />25 December 1, 2025, Parks and Environmental Commission agenda. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried unanimously. <br />28 <br />IV.29 APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 8, 2025, REGULAR PARKS AND <br />30 ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. <br />31 <br />32 Chair Fee noted on page 7 line 12 correct Lee to Fee. On page 8 line 34 the program is called <br />33 Lawns to Legume. <br />34 <br />35 Motion by Commissioner Swiontek, seconded by Commissioner Peterson, to approve <br />36 September 8, 2025, Regular Parks and Environmental Commission Meeting Minutes as <br />37 presented. <br />38 <br />39 Motion carried unanimously. <br />40 <br />41 Commissioner Hark arrived at the meeting at 7:08 p.m. <br />42 <br />43 V.PRESENTATIONS. <br />44 <br />A.45 Citizens for Sustainability Updates. <br />46 <br />47 Citizens for Sustainability Co-chair Dan Kunitz reviewed a PowerPoint presentation that <br />48 included 2025 CFS Outreach, 2025 CFS Outreach Organizations, Still in 2025, Coming up <br />49 next in 2026, and Upcoming Collaborations. Mr. Kunitz provided an Earth Week update.
