CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY <br />PLANNING COMMISSION WORK SESSION <br />MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 17, 2026 <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Planning Commission: <br />Commissioners Minerva Hark, Michael Mayne, Jeannette Fleming and Libby Christu <br />Absent Chair Meridith Socha, Commissioners Barbara Anderson and Michael Corneille <br />Staff: <br />Assistant City Manager Ashley Morello and City Planner Steve Grittman <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br />Assistant City Manager Morello welcomed everyone to the meeting at 5:35 p.m. <br />OATH SWEARING: <br />Assistant City Manager Morello conducted the swearing in of new Commissioners Jeannette Fleming <br />and Libby Christu <br />WORK SESSION TOPICS <br />Commissioner Onboarding: <br />Following introductions, Ms. Morello began the orientation and informed Commissioners about the <br />demographics of the city, the city’s governance structure and key laws to be mindful of as a <br />representative of the city. Mr. Grittman then walked the group through some basics of planning and <br />zoning, particularly related to some scenarios they may experience as Planning Commissioners. The <br />Commissioners and Staff engaged in conversation about best practices for the commissioners to <br />consider. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
