2026 <br />4 <br />ConsPros <br />●People could get injured because <br />bike riding has risks. <br />●Pump tracks can be intimidating <br />and everyone might not be <br />interested. <br />●Some people might think <br />something else should be there <br />because not everyone likes pump <br />tracks. <br />●People would be healthier <br />because biking is exercise. <br />●It would bring the community <br />together because people can <br />find others who enjoy a <br />similar hobby. <br />●A pump track does not cause <br />pollution because it uses <br />human power. <br />Evidence <br />We found evidence from our research on why pump tracks would be a <br />good option for our problem, such as: <br />●The community gets a valuable asset at a low cost <br />●All ages and skill levels can learn in the same location <br />●Pump tracks create a fun and positive atmosphere <br />●The community gets a valuable asset without emitting a lot of <br />pollution - Lee Likes Bikes <br />●“While measuring the social impact of such facilities is difficult, there <br />is evidence showing the health gains they foster.” - UCI <br />7 <br />8 <br />35
