ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 APRIL 14, 2026 <br />4 <br />I.5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Webster called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />II.9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Webster invited the Council and audience to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />III.13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Webster, Councilmembers Lona Doolan, Nadia Elnagdy, and Jan Jenson. <br />16 <br />17 Absent:Councilmember Thomas Randle. <br />18 <br />19 Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker and City Planner Steve Grittman. <br />20 <br />21 Others Present:None. <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE <br />25 FOLLOWING ITEMS. <br />26 <br />27 <br />IV.28 APPROVAL OF APRIL 14, 2026 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Councilmember Elnagdy, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />31 Council Meeting Agenda of April 14, 2026, as presented. <br />32 <br />33 Motion carried 4-0. <br />34 <br />V.35 PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />36 <br />A.37 Earth Day Proclamation. <br />38 <br />39 The Council read aloud the Earth Day Proclamation. Information about ecological impacts and <br />40 the importance of sustainability was shared. Mayor Webster proclaimed April 22, 2026, as Earth <br />41 Day in St. Anthony and encouraged citizens to celebrate the Earth. <br />42 <br />B.43 Arbor Day Proclamation. <br />44 <br />45 The Council read aloud the Arbor Day Proclamation. Information about the ecological impact of <br />46 climate change on Minnesota was provided. The environmental benefits of tree planting were <br />47 explained. Mayor Webster proclaimed April 24, 2026, as Arbor Day, and the month of May <br />48 2026 as Arbor Month in St. Anthony. <br />49
