CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 26-031 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND <br />AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF VALVES FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />VALVE REPLACEMENTS <br />WHEREAS,the City of Saint Anthony Village desires to make upgrades to the Water <br />Treatment Plant including operational valves, electrical and SCADA network; and <br />WHEREAS,pursuant to a request for professional services to provide the electrical and <br />program upgrades to the Water Treatment Plan SCADA network, a quote was <br />received from Dusk Systems, the existing electrical and programmer for the <br />City’s current SCADA network, in the amount of $67,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the City to purchase 39 Flomatic butterfly <br />valves with electrical actuators for the Water Treatment Plant, quotes were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following quotes were <br />received complying with the request: <br />Contractor Total Quote <br />1 Rep Rite Burk & Associates $112,365.00 <br />2 Magney Construction Inc.did not submit <br />3 Plant and Flanged did not submit; and <br />WHEREAS, Rep Rite Burk & Associates of Mendota Heights, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible quote. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Saint Anthony <br />Village, Minnesota approves <br />1.The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Dusk Systems for professional services in the amount of $67,000 in the name of the <br />City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota to provide electrical and program upgrades to the <br />Water Treatment Plant SCADA network. <br />2.The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Rep Rite Burk & Associates in the amount of $112,365.00 in the name of the City of <br />St. Anthony Village, Minnesota to supply the City of St. Anthony Village with 39 <br />Flomatic butterfly valves with electrical actuators for the Water Treatment Plant.
