March 24, 2026 St. Anthony Council Work Session - 3 <br />AE.Presentation 5 – Small Business Bakery <br />John and Emma presented a proposal for a small business bakery. The use of European Grain would <br />eliminate Glyphosate. European Grain has health benefits due to less enrichment and added <br />preservatives. <br />Mayor Webster asked how John learned about Glyphosate, and John stated he learned it from his mom. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated he likes the concept of a bakery. There would be good foot traffic. <br />Councilmember Doolan appreciates the focus on getting chemicals out of the food. She asked if they <br />would consider gluten-free products as well. John said more room would be needed. <br />AF.Presentation 6 – Pump Track <br />Aidan and Everett presented a proposal for a pump track. A pump track is a concrete track that people <br />can bike, scooter, and skateboard on. It is mainly used for biking, and you ride around on it, do jumps, <br />wheelies, etc. <br />Mayor Webster asked about research, and is there an estimate on the cost for a pump track? The <br />students stated approximately $200,000. <br />Councilmember Jenson asked if there would be a conflict with the skateboard park near City Hall. He <br />noted the skateboard park was designed by 8th graders in the 1990’s. <br />Councilmember Doolan noted the risks of injury and liability. She is concerned with the impervious <br />surface on the lot. There is a mini pump track in Minneapolis. <br />Future Agenda Items: <br />The next City Council Work Session Meeting will be held on April 14. On April 1st, the Joint Work Session <br />Parks Summit will be held. <br />Adjournment: <br />Mayor Webster adjourned the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:36 p.m. <br />5
