MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Katie Koscielak, Assistant City Engineer <br />Date:May 26, 2026 <br />Request: Resolution 26-041 – Accepting a Bid and Awarding a Contract for the 2026 City- <br />Wide Water Meter Replacement Project <br />BACKGROUND <br />Earlier in 2026, the City Council authorized Staff to prepare plans and specifications to authorize the <br />advertisement of bids for a City-Wide Water Meter Replacement Project. <br />Bids for the project were received, opened, and read aloud on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. One bid was <br />received and verified for mathematical accuracy. The enclosed bid summary shows the low bid <br />submitted by Core & Main LP of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, in the amount of $1,259,708. The Engineer’s <br />Estimate for the project was $1,727,550.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council award the contract to Core & Main LP in the amount of <br />$1,259,708.00. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Presentation <br />Bid Summary <br />Resolution 26-041 <br />49
