SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE SAMPLE COMMUNICATIONS
PURPOSE
The following examples and information are submitted as part of the application for the Met Council’s
2026-2028 Water Efficiency Grant Program (WEGP).
Saint Anthony Village publishes Village Notes quarterly newsletter, e-news blasts, website pages, and
social media as primary channels for communication and promotion of programs and services. All
methods are well-established and trusted sources of information with strong followership and
engagement, and can easily incorporate content related to the WEGP.
Additional alternative communications channels include the electronic billboard at City Hall, and the TVs
for announcements at both municipal retail store locations. The City Communications Coordinator
manages these with the collaboration of staff to provide guidance and content.
EXISTING EXAMPLES
City Website
The official City Website features a dedicated page for all Sustainability initiatives, services and projects.
This page is also easily accessible from any page of the website, with a shortcut being linked at the top
page banner.

Within the Sustainability section of the website, there is also a Water Conservation at Home page. This is
where resident information and requirements/qualifications will be located for the WEGP, along with
the online application form. A paper copy of the application will be available upon request and at City
Hall.
Another feature of the website is the ability to send e-news blasts to subscribers for several topics of
interest. The Sustainability e-newsletter is a complement to the Village Notes quarterly newsletter. Past
e-newsletters can be viewed here.
