Resolution 13·016; a Resolution Approving the Public Works Union Contract. Mark <br />Casey, City Manager. presenting. <br />City Manager Casey advised that this is also a two·year contract with the Public Works Union <br />and includes a 2% wage increase in both 2013 and 2014. He added the contract also includes a <br />re·opener clause for 2014 to allow for adjustments to the health insurance benefits contribution. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve Resolution 13· <br />016; Ratifying the 2013·2014 Agreement Between the City ofSt. Anthony and International <br />Union of Operating Engineers , Local 49 , AFL·CIO, Representing the St. Anthony Public Works <br />Department. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Casey reported that a presentation will be made at an upcoming meeting regarding <br />a program called "Open to Business," a free one on one counseling service offered to current and <br />prospective entrepreneurs. He stated the program is offered by the Metropolitan Consortium of <br />Community Developers (MCCD) and has been well received by residents of other communities. <br />He indicated the City will partner with MCCD to provide the program to residents and includes a <br />matching grant. He added the City will work with the Chamber of Commerce to advertise the <br />program as well as the City website and newsletter. <br />Councilmember Gray -No report. <br />Council member Jenson -No report. <br />Councilmember Roth -No report. <br />Councilmember Stille -No report. <br />Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the following: <br />• January 8th MWMO meeting. He advised that a project will begin this year in the Lowry <br />area that will benefit the City and the environment at no cost to the City. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda.
