ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 23, 2013 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />FWNA 11"DillT� 1111DIS ". 063 A <br />10 <br />11 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 <br />ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 <br />Present: <br />Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Roth and Stille. <br />16 <br />Absent: <br />None. <br />17 <br />Also Present: <br />City Manager Mark Casey and Finance Director Shelly Rueckert. <br />18 <br />Guest: <br />Alissa Boroff (Aging in Place Project) <br />19 <br />20 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />21 ITEMS. <br />22 <br />23 1. APPROVAL OF APRIL 23, 2013, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />24 <br />25 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />26 Council Meeting Agenda of April 23, 2013. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 I1. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />31 <br />32 A. Representative from the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce announcing the Villager of <br />33 the Year and the Business of the Year. <br />34 <br />35 Mayor Faust introduced Ms. Jan Fillmore from the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce Board. <br />36 <br />37 Ms. Fillmore reported the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce held its 27th annual meeting on <br />38 Thursday, April 180', and presented its 2013 Villager of the Year award to Mr. Scott Swanson. <br />39 She stated Mr. Swanson has been a volunteer member of the St. Anthony Village Fire <br />40 Department for 38 years and Fire Chief Malenick praised Mr. Swanson for his dedication to <br />41 service in the community. She stated Mr. Swanson is also an assistant football coach at the high <br />42 school and has been actively involved with Villagefest. She stated there was no award for <br />43 Business of the Year because the Chamber did not receive any nominations; however, the <br />44 Chamber presented a special recognition of service award to Mr. Tom Miller who has <br />45 volunteered for the past 30 years with St. Anthony Village service organizations, specifically the <br />46 Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis. She extended the Chamber's congratulations to Mr. <br />47 Swanson and Mr. Miller for their outstanding service to the St. Anthony community. <br />48 <br />49 Mayor Faust expressed the City Council's congratulations to Mr. Swanson and Mr. Miller. <br />50 <br />
