REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />4 <br />5 City Manager Casey reported on his participation in the Kiwanis food stand and the Kiwanis <br />6 pancake breakfast during Villagefest. He stated he also participated in the Village fest parade. <br />Councilmember Roth reported on his attendance at the City Council work session on August 5th <br />and Night to Unite on August 6 th . He stated he also participated in Villagefest activities. <br />Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at a League seminar on July 25 th regarding new <br />legislation related to garbage hauling that will allow haulers to capture some efficiencies and still <br />retain their market share. He also reported on his attendance at the City Council work session on <br />August 5 th and Night to Unite on August 6 th <br />Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the August 2 nd Villagefest parade with entire City <br />Council. He extended the City Council's thanks to City staff for their volunteerism with Kiwanis <br />and the Chamber of Commerce and for all their work to make Village fest a success. He also <br />thanked the Villagefest committee and Chair Julianne Hunter for their extraordinary work on <br />Villagefest. He also reported on his attendance at Night to Unite on August 6 th He also reported <br />on his attendance at the August 12th Regional Council of Mayors meeting that included a <br />presentation regarding MnlDOT's Minnesota GO program. He indicated a three minute video is <br />available and suggested putting the video on the website. He stated that Jeff Hamiel, Executive <br />Director of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, also spoke at the meeting. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda . <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS -NONE. <br />X.
