Planning Commission Meeting ]Minutes <br />December 21., 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />Chair opened public hearing at 7:04 p.m. <br />M <br />3 Ms. Moorc-Sykes stated that Mr. ,John Dennison, 281.2 Silver Lane is requesting that a 20 -foot <br />4 strip of land that he is purchasing from the owner of the adjoining property at 2825 Silver Lane <br />5 be split from that lot and subdivided to add it to his property. She explained that the proposed lot <br />6 split would not adversely affect 2825 Silver Lane noting that the lot would continue to meet the <br />7 requirements of the City's lot requirements for R -IA, Single Family Lakeshore and also the City <br />8 zoning ordinance. She reviewed with the request with the Commission. <br />10 Craig Keppler, Representative for Mr. Dennison stated that the request under consideration <br />11, corrects the original request adding that he is present to answer any questions the Commission <br />12 might have. <br />13 <br />14 Chair ,Strorngren asked if any of the neighbors in the area have expressed any concerns. Ms. <br />15 Moore -Sykes stated that she received. two phone calls from residents, a neighbor and a <br />16 prospective buyer, called. to ask what was going oil with the property. She explained the request. <br />17 noting that their concerns were addressed. <br />18 <br />19 Mr. Tennison stated that this would not adversely affect the home on the property and briefly <br />20 reviewed his request with the Commission.. <br />21 <br />22 Chair Stromgren closed the public hearing at 7:08 p.m. <br />2.3 <br />24 Motion by Vice Chair Hanson, seconded by Commissioner Tillman, to recouurrend approval of <br />25 the application for the subdivision of Lot 2 .Block 1, Birkeland 2`1 Addition; plus 20 -feet of Lot <br />26 1, Block 1, Birkeland 2"" Addition, as an addition to the property at 2821 Silver Lane. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unauirnously <br />29 <br />30 Chair Stromgren. stated that City Council would consider this request at their January 11, 2005 <br />31 Regular• meeting. She stated that <br />41 the proposed legal description of e property Id be Lot I and Lot 2, Block 1, Silver Lake <br />42 Homes, Ramsey County, in sota, 2504 39th Av no Northeast.
