M <br />To: Mayor and Councilmembers Report No.: <br />From: Kim Moore -Sykes, Assistant City Manager AluuD <br />Date: January 11, 2005 <br />Subject: Quest Request for Removal of Planned Unit Development Rezoning Request: Application for <br />4001 Stinson Boulevard NE from Council Agenda <br />Requested Action: <br />Quest Development, Inc. has requested by letter that the City Council pull their PUD request: from the Council. <br />agenda so that they may have time to respond more fully to the questions and comments posed to them at the <br />December: 21, 2004 Planning Commission meeting. Based on Staff's telephone call, Mr. Jim Waters, President, <br />Quest Development, has requested via facsitale a 30dayextension. <br />Raereruaad: <br />On December 28, 2004, Staff received a letter from Jim Waters, President of Quest Development, Inc., <br />requesting that Council consideration of their PUD application be removed from the January 11, 2005 Council <br />meeting agenda but to be placed on an agenda fora future meeting. No date was requested for future <br />consideration of this application. <br />Recommended Action: <br />In speaking with the City Attorney, the Council has the following options: <br />1. Grant Quest the 30 -day extension, as requested, by granting an additional 60 -day extension as <br />allowed by MN Statute 15.99. Council can tentatively schedule consideration of this request for <br />the February 8"' Council meeting. <br />2.
