CITY Of'ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE, <br />RESOLUTION 05-053 <br />A Rl3SOLUTION REGARDING RENEWAL OF INSURANCE COVERAGI ANDT11111, <br />WAIVER OF TORI" LIABILITY LIMITS I'OR THEI LMCIT INSURANCEPROGRAM. <br />AM. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves participation in the <br />League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) insurance program for the <br />year 2005/2006; and <br />WIII ;REAS, the City has elected to purchase liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.00 <br />per occurrence, as set forth in the MN Statutes 466.04. <br />BE I I' RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves the <br />renewal of insurance coverage through the League of Minnesota Cities at a cost of $163,708.00 <br />for the policy period June 1, 2005 to May 31, 2006. <br />1N ADDITION, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby <br />approves the renewal of inu nicipal off -sale liquor insurance for its off -sale stores (Market Place <br />and Silver Lake Village) in the amount of $11,250.00 for the policy period of June 1, 2005 to <br />May 31, 2006. <br />1'IIERliFORL, BL' IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />hereby approves waiving of the monetary limits on tort liability established by MN statute <br />466.04 to the extent of the limits of the liability coverage obtained from the LMCIT for the <br />policy period of June l , 2005 to May 31, 2006. <br />Adopted this day of _. _ 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />City Manager <br />W <br />
