ANTHONY RFSOLUTION 05-083 A RFSOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEME,NTFOR, BIDS WHERI3AS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on August 23, 2005, the engineering firm of WSB & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement by reconstruction of the roadways and utilities of: 1. 30°i Avenue NE from Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street 2. Murray Avenue 3. Roosevelt Street NL fi-om St. Anthony Boulevard to 30°1 Avenue NE 4. Coolidge Street from St. Anthony Boulevard to 29°i Avenue NI 5. Alley south of Murray fi om Wilson Street to Roosevelt Street NOW, Tl JEI:FT ORE BE 1 f RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that: 1) Such improvement is ncocssaiv, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the fcasibi lily report. 2) Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. 3) The consulting engin cring firm shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the malting of such imps ovemcnt under ,such approved plans and specifications. The advertisernent shall be published for two times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened on or about Decembe 15th, 2005, and bids will be considered by the City Council at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2006, in the Council Chambers of the City IIall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council. on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless scaled and Med with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City of St. Anthony for Five (5%) percent of the amount of such bid.
