ANTHONY <br />NOTICE OF ELECTION <br />Notice is hereby given that a state primary <br />will be conducted on November 8, 2005 for <br />the City of St. Anthony. Polls will open at <br />7:00am and close at 8:00pm. Polling loca- <br />tions are as follows: <br />Precinct 1 Hennepin County — <br />St Charles Borromeo Church — Doran <br />Hall, 2420 St. Anthony Blvd. <br />Precinct 2 Hennepin County — <br />Community Center Gymnasium, 3301 <br />Silver Lake Road <br />Precinct 1 Ramsey County -- <br />Chandler Place, 3701 Chandler Place <br />City Offices to be voted on are: <br />Two Councilmembers — 4 -year terms <br />One Councilmember — Special Election <br />for a. 2 -year term <br />School Board offices to be voted on are: <br />Three School Board Member, 4 -year <br />term <br />In addition, St. Anthony/New Brighton School <br />District #282 will have one question on the <br />ballot for a "Yes" or "No" vote. <br />1, The school board of Independent School <br />District No. 282 (St. Anthony -New Brighton) <br />has proposed to revoke its existing referen- <br />dum revenue authorization of $1,536.60 per <br />pupil and to replace that authorization with a <br />new authorization of an amount not to exceed <br />$1,985 per pupil. The proposed new refer- <br />endum revenue authorization would be ap- <br />plicable for ten years unless otherwise re- <br />voked or reduced as provided by law. At no <br />time will the school district's actual referen- <br />dum revenue authorization for any year ex- <br />ceed the statutory maximum for that year. <br />Voters who will be absent from the precinct <br />on Election Day or unable to vote in person <br />due to illness, disability, religious obser- <br />vance, or service as an election judge in an- <br />other precinct may vote by absentee ballot. <br />Ballots may be obtained by mail or in person <br />at City Hall offices.
