REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />Report Date:January 18,2006 <br />Agenda Section:VI,B <br />Meeting Date:January 24,2006 <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: <br />Emerald Park <br />MANAGER'S REVIEW: <br />In 2005,the Park Commission requested the City Council to set aside funding for the <br />hiring on a landscape consultant for Emerald Park.The City Council authorized up to <br />$10,000 for the park commission.The Park Commission retained the services of Close <br />Landscape Architecture to help prepare a concept plan for the redevelopment of <br />Emerald Park. <br />To date there has been several meetings with the Park Commission,an open house <br />with the residents and a cost estimate prepared by Close Landscape.Representatives <br />from Closeare in attendancetonightto reviewthe plan with the City Council . <br />Michael Mornson <br />City Manager <br />10 <br />--- <br />m <br />--
