If it is a <br />2 message that says look at this again, he will vote for it. <br />3 <br />4 Mayor Faust said this is a way for us to get them to look at this. <br />5 <br />6 Mr. Twinem explained that if the amendmentasses, it is a one -lane southbound approach and <br />p pp <br />7 he cannot speak on behalf of Ramsey County. He proposed to look at the layout as shown today. <br />8 Then it can be determined what. the impacts are and it can be brought back to the Council. <br />9 <br />10 Commissioner Stenglein commented that this issue will come back to the Council, so the <br />11 amendment is not necessary at this time. <br />12 <br />13 Mayor Faust stated he does not want this issue to be lost. He said if he can be assured that this <br />14 will be looked at, he would withdraw his second. <br />15 <br />16 Mr. Twinem assured Mayor Faust that they will look at it. <br />17 <br />18 Commissioner Stenglein said he would give the commitment that it will be looked at. <br />19 <br />20 Motion by Councilmember Gray to withdraw his amendment to the motion regarding Resolution <br />21. 06-026 re: Approve Preliminary Layout No. 3 for the Improvement of Silver Lake Road (CSAH <br />22 13 6) from St. Anthony Blvd. to 37th Avenue NE. <br />23 <br />24 Motion carried Wianimousl�. <br />25 <br />26 VII, REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br />27 City Manager Mornson reported the following: <br />28 e A wireless workshop was held with the Consultant. The School staff and business from <br />29 the Chamber of Commerce were invited. A- feasibility report will be presented at a <br />30 Council meeting in April. <br />31 9 .Reports on I and I will be presented in April. <br />32 ® Updates on the new water meter reading will be presented in April. <br />33 There will be two public hearings at the March Planning Commission meeting including <br />34 one for a variance for parking, and another for a Conditional Use Permit for a hair salon. <br />35 9 Ehlers will present an update on the Silver Lake Village project in March. <br />36 9 As there are no items on the agenda for the February 28 Council Meeting, consideration <br />37 should be given to cancel the meeting. <br />38 9 An appointment to the North Suburban Cable Commission needs to be made along with <br />39 an alternate appointment. The next meeting is March 2. <br />40 <br />41 Motion by Mayor Faust, seconded by Councilmember Horst to appoint Councilmember Hal <br />42 Gray as the North Suburban Cable Commissioner, and Kim Moore -Sykes as alternate Cable <br />43 Commissioner. <br />44 <br />45 Motion carried unanimous <br />46 . <br />47 Councilmember Stille had no report. <br />73 <br />
