They are raising funds to <br />go to Calgary and all proceeds will go to this outstanding group. <br />Councilmember Gray had no report. <br />Mayor Faust reported on the Table Top Exercise recently conducted on the City's emergency <br />operations plan. This was an opportunity to meet with department heads, Hennepin's County <br />and Ramsey County's emergency operations center, and learn of NIMS. Mayor Faust noted <br />the City has dedicated to have the Council and staff NIMS qualified by September 30. Once <br />qualified, the City can apply for grants. <br />Mayor Faust reviewed that on April 20, 2006, the Chamber of Commerce held its annual <br />meeting and honored the City's employees. He stated the City's employees truly run a <br />business through contracts with police and fire, the liquor operation, and water funds. He <br />stated City Manager Mornson gave a tremendous accounting of what the City's employees <br />do for its residents and complemented him on his presentation. <br />Mayor Faust congratulated Councilmember Gray for being named by the Chamber of <br />Commerce as the "Villager of the Year." <br />Mayor Faust provided an update on their work for the Salo visit and park dedication on June <br />81 2006 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Salo Park. He invited the community to attend the <br />ceremony where there will be music, visitors from Salo, and a park dedication. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />are not on the regular agenda. <br />Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />IX 11FORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />None. <br />X.
