Mayor Faust informed Mrs. 7 Orcutt-Baker the Housing Resource Center allows residents to do home improvements if their 8 income is below $87,000. He stated her other option is to take advantage of a tax law in the 9 State of Minnesota. If her income were under $60,000, she would only pay 1 % of your real estate 10 taxes. He informed Mrs. Orcutt-Baker the City is willing to help if she would come to us. The 11 Council heard her concerns and are sensitive to her, on other hand, there are other things the 12 Council must do to keep the City in good working order. He recommends she meet with 13 someone at City Hall that can give her the adequate answers she needs. 14 15 16 IX INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS, 17 18 Mayor Faust heard from an individual on Skycroft who appreciates branching from Hennepin 19 County to Ramsey County. He reports continually hearing people say they appreciate the ability 20 to recycle these items. 21 22 Mayor Faust received a note from former Vice President Mondale thanking him for the 23 wonderful time with the people from Finland. 24 25 Mayor Faust received a thank you from the school for recognizing the girls' softball and boys' 26 baseball teams. 27 28 City Manager Mornson reminded the City Council of the regular meeting with the school board 29 on August 29, 2006 at the school. 30 31 Councilmember Horst restated do not forget Village Fest next week. 32 33 34 X.
