I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 September 12, 2006 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />7 <br />8 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />9 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />10 <br />11 ROLL CALL. <br />12 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Horst, Stille, and Thuesen <br />13 Absent: None. <br />14 Also Present: Assistant City Manager Kim Moore -Sykes, and Finance Manager Roger <br />15 Larson <br />16 <br />17 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />18 ITEMS. <br />19 <br />20 I. APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 12, 2006 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />21 <br />22 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the City <br />23 Council Meeting Agenda of September 12, 2006. <br />24 <br />25 Motion carried unanimously. <br />26 <br />27 Il. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />28 A. Kiwanis Peanut Day September 22, 2006. <br />29 <br />30 Councilmember Stille read the Proclamation designating Friday, September 22, 2006 as St. <br />31 Anthony Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br />32 <br />33 Tom Miller, Peanut Chairman, Mrs. Dianne Sparks, and Mr. George Wagner City of St. Anthony <br />34 Kiwanis Club were in attendance to receive the proclamation. <br />35 <br />36 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve the <br />37 Proclamation <br />38 <br />39 Motion carried unanimously. <br />40 <br />41 III. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />42 A. Approval of August 22, 2006 Council Meeting Minutes. <br />43 B. Consider licenses andep rmits. <br />44 C. Consider payment of claims. <br />45 D. Resolution 06-071 Deferred Special Assessment for 2006 Street Improvement Project. <br />46 <br />47 Councilmember Horst requested the removal of Consent Agenda Item C. <br />48 <br />49 Councilmember Thuesen requested the removal of Consent Agenda Item A. <br />1 <br />
