CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />ORDINANCE 2006-006 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE CITY <br />CODE, BEING SIGN REGULATIONS <br />1400.07 Prohibited Signs. <br />Subd. 20. Electronic Message Signs. <br />Electronic signs except public service signs in the Recreational Open <br />Space District located on property that is owned by the City or <br />Independent School District 282; and <br />Gas price display signs for fuel stations in the Commercial Zoning <br />District, advertises fuel prices only. <br />1400.12 District Schedules. <br />Subd. 2 Commercial and Limited Business. <br />(2) A gasoline station will be allowed, in addition to all other authorized <br />signs, one pylon or monument sign to identify the gasoline brand. <br />This sign may not exceed 30 feet in height, and must have a minimum <br />clearance of 8 feet from the basic grade level to the lowest element of <br />the sign surface and may not exceed 150 square feet in sign surface <br />area. Such establishment will be allowed one changeable price display <br />sign for each frontage having ^ ^urb c . That portion of a gas sign <br />that announces prices and consists of changeable copy, manual or <br />electronic, must be integrated into a freestanding sign. <br />Fuel stations may integrate a gas display sign into an electronic <br />changeable copy sign, provided: <br />a. Copy height shall not exceed 14 inches; <br />b. The electronic copy is limited to numeric characters only; <br />C. The electronic copy shall not scroll, flash, or blink or include <br />animated copy of graphics; <br />d. The electronic copy shall be limited to one (1) color. <br />e. Electronic copy must have automatic dimming <br />capability/ feature to reduce brightness of copy at night. <br />Such freestanding sign will be in addition to those signs allowed in <br />paragraph 1 of this Subdivision. <br />38 <br />
