25 <br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />RESOLUTION 07-025 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />2007 STREETAND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />The amount proper and necessary to be specially assessed at this time for various public <br />improvements is 35% assessable as follows: <br />First Year <br />Years First Year Levy Collectible Assessed <br />15 2007 2008 $523,454.33 <br />For improvements to the following: <br />1. 27°i Avenue N.C. from Stinson Boulevard to Coolidge Street. <br />2. Pahl Avenue from Roosevelt to Wilson Street. <br />3. Roosevelt Street N.E. north of 27°i Street. <br />4. Alleys between Roosevelt and Wilson Street; north and south of Pahl <br />Avenue. <br />5. Alley south of 27°1 Street from Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street. <br />6. 39°i Avenue N.C. from Silver Lake Road to Chandler Drive. <br />against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly <br />calculated upon the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with <br />the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and notice has been duly published, as <br />required by law that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objections, <br />if any, and said proposed assessment has at all time since itsfiling been open for public <br />inspection and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their <br />objections if any, to such proposed assessments. <br />2. This Council, having heard and considered all objections so presented, finds that each of the <br />lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed assessment was and is specially <br />benefited by the construction of said improvement in not less than the amount of the <br />assessment set opposite the description of each such lot, piece and parcel of land <br />respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, <br />pieces and parcels of land therein described. <br />3. The proposed assessments are hereby adopted and confirmed as the proper special <br />assessments for each of said lots, pieces and parcels of land respectively, and the assessment <br />against each parcel, together with interest at the rate calculated at 2% over the interest cost <br />per annum on the bonds to be issued by the City for said improvement, accruing on the full <br />amount thereof unpaid, shall be a lien concurrent with general taxes upon parcel and all <br />thereof. The total amount of each such assessment not pre -paid shall be payable in equal <br />amoral principal installments extending over a period of years, as indicated in each case. <br />The first of said installments, together with interest on the entire assessment for the period of <br />111Cnunait hl,11111 s1200210313W1R1_507025-AAopw, Confu'miug Assess'.nenm-021301.Ane <br />
