MORNSON, CITY MANAGER <br />SUBJECT: <br />QUARTI3RLY GOALS PROG12IiSS UPDATE, <br />DATE: <br />9/11/2007 <br />The following represents a written quarterly update on the City goals approved at the City Council and staff <br />retreat in January. In March, the goals were presented to the Parks and Planning Commission, the School <br />Board, and the Former Elected Officials. <br />The council will get written updates on March 27, June 26, and September 11. In addition, several of the <br />goals will be discussed at the regular council meetings and work sessions throughout the year. <br />The following represents a written update on the 2007 Goals <br />Goal 1: Reconstruction of Silver Lake Road <br />Target completion: December 2008 <br />Activities Completed: <br />1. City staff met with Hennepin County staff several times to discuss schedule and funding program. <br />2. Held meeting with task force to receive their input. <br />3. Mote meetings with county staff on funding. <br />4. Meeting with Utility Companies on schedule. <br />5. Meeting with stakeholders on project update. <br />6. Open house April 26, 2007, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. <br />7. Resolution on utility work to be considered by council at the June 2011 meeting. <br />S. Approved bids for tree removal. <br />9. Approved utility company to relocate utility lines. <br />
