The subject property is located in the City's Industrial Zoning District. The applicants presented a <br />CUP application to the Planning Commission in a concept review at the August 21, 2007 Planning Commission <br />meeting and a public hearing was held on September 18, 2007, whereby the Planning Commission tabled the <br />application for additional site information. The Planning Commission reconvened the public hearing for the <br />proposed Jack & Jill Daycare and Pre-school facility CUP at their October 16, 2007 Planning Commission <br />meeting. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended approval of this <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br />The applicants have also proposed a text amendment that would allow daycare facilities as conditional permitted <br />use in the Industrial Zoning District.
