74 <br />Subd. 9 Other Penalties. Nothing in this Section 1000.14 shall restrict or limit <br />the authority of the City Council to suspend up to 60 days, revoke the license, or <br />impose a civil fine not to exceed $2,000 for each violation, to impose conditions, <br />or impose any combination of the foregoing sanctions, or take any other action in <br />accordance with law; provided, that the license holder has been afforded an <br />opportunity for a hearing in the manner provided for in this Section 1000.14. <br />1000.15 Limit on Number of On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor Licenses. At any one time <br />there shall not be more than three On -Sale hrtoxicating Liquor Licenses issued by the <br />City. <br />1000.16 Incorporation by Reference. The provisions of M.S. 340A. which are referencec <br />in this Section are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference and made a part of this <br />Section, including all regulations of the Commissioner which relate to such incorporated <br />provisions of M.S. 340A. <br />Section 1010 - MUNICIPAL LIQUOR <br />1010.01 Definitions. The words used in this Section will have the meanings given them <br />in Minn. Stat. §340A.101, and the term `liquor" as used in this Code means "intoxicating <br />liquor" as defined in Minn. Stat. §340A.101. <br />1010.02 Stores Established. There are hereby established municipal stores for the on—sale <br />and off—sale of liquor. <br />1010.03 Location and Operation. The stores will be located at places determined by the <br />City Council and as authorized by State law. <br />1010.04 Liquor Fund. A municipal liquor fund is hereby created. All revenues received <br />from the operation of the City's liquor stores will be deposited in that fund. All ordinary <br />operating expenses of the stores will be paid from the fund. Surpluses accumulated in the <br />fund may be transferred, by resolution of the City Council, to the general fund or to any <br />other appropriate fund to be expended for municipal purposes. The handling of the <br />municipal liquor receipts and disbursements must comply with the procedures prescribed <br />by law for receipt and disbursement of municipal funds generally. <br />1010.05 Hours of Operation. The hours of operation of City liquor stores will comply <br />with Minn. Stat. §340A.504. The City liquor stores will not be open for business of any <br />kind during the hours when sales of intoxicating liquor are prohibited. <br />1010.06 Operation and Restrictions. <br />Subd. 1. Credit. No alcoholic beverages may be sold on credit. <br />10-18 <br />
