CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />RESOLUTION 08-024 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NORTH SUBURBAN EMERGENCY <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN GROUP (NSEMPG) EMERGENCY PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Civil Defense Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 12, requires <br />each political subdivision in the state to establish a local organization for <br />civil defense in accordance with the State Civil Defense Program; and <br />WHEREAS, in 1972, St. Anthony passed Resolution 07-022 authorizing the <br />establishment of a civil defense organization for the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Chief of St. Anthony has been participating in the NSEMPG and <br />created a universal Emergency Management Plan that would be <br />implemented by several cities throughout Hennepin County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />hereby adopts the North Suburban Emergency Management Plan Group (NSEMPG) <br />Emergency Plan. <br />Adopted this 25tt, day of March, 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />Mayor <br />City Manager <br />M <br />
