City of St. Anthony Village <br />Ordinance 08-006 <br />CHAPTER 5 LICENSES, PERMITS AND BUSINESS REGULATIONS <br />Section 580 - Fireworks Dealers <br />580.11 Operation Restrictions <br />C. Maintenance of Storage Areas; Permissible Amounts of Consumer Fireworks. <br />Any significant deviation, enlargement or alteration from the approved site plan <br />for the storage areas covered by the license must be pre -approved in writing by <br />the City's fire department. Buildings used for the storage of <br />Consumer Fireworks shall be one-story, without a basement, non-residential, <br />and fully protected by an automatic fire -sprinkler system. Buildings used for the <br />storage of Consumer Fireworks that are also used for other purposes shall store <br />the Consumer Fireworks in a room or area used exclusively for the storage of <br />Consumer Fireworks having interior walls with a minimum fire -resistance rating <br />of one (1) hour and having doors with a minimum fire -resistance rating of forty- <br />five (45) minutes. Buildings used for the storage of: Consumer Fireworks must be <br />located at a minimum distance of seventy (70) feet from inhabited buildings and <br />thirty-five (35) feet from public highways and other storage buildings. <br />These ordinance changes shall be in full force and effect upon passage by the City <br />Council and publication of the Ordinance or a Summary thereof in the City's official <br />newspaper. <br />First Reading: Waived <br />Second Reading: Waived <br />Adopted: June 10, 2008 <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Publish: <br />Mayor <br />
