ANTHONY <br />RESOLUTION 08-040 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER REUSh <br />FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br />for the above -referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />1. Graham Penn -Co. Construction, Inc. <br />2. Park Construction Company <br />3. Lametti & Sons, Inc. <br />4. Veit & Company <br />5. Rice Lake Construction Group <br />Total Bid <br />(Base Bid, Concrete Tank <br />Alternate, Landscaping <br />$1,283,998.75 <br />$1,687,842.41 <br />$1,963,080.00 <br />$2,098,870.25 <br />$2,468,572.50 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Graham Penn -Co Construction, Inc. of Eagan, MN is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br />1. The selected alternates for the above -referenced project shall include Alternate 1 and <br />Alternate 5, in addition to base bid items. <br />2. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Graham Penn -Co Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,283,998.75 in the name of the <br />City of St. Anthony, Minnesota, for the improvement outlined in the above -referenced <br />project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />7.
