Chief of Police <br />July 28, 2008 <br />Gordon Blackey <br />3020 Croft Driver <br />St. Anthony, MN 55418 <br />Dear Mr. Blackey: <br />The St. Anthony Police Department's records indicate that on the following dates your dog (black Lab <br />mix) has bitten one or more persons (unprovol<ed): June 26, 2008; November '16, 2007 and May 18, <br />2007. <br />As such, your dog has been declared a "dangerous dog" as described in MN State Statute 347.50. <br />MN State Statute 347.54] provides that you may request a hearing concerning the "dangerous dog" <br />declaration. Failure to request a hearing within 14 days fi-om the date of this notice, will terminate your <br />hearing right. In addition, if you male an appeal request within the 14 day period, you must <br />immediately comply with the requirements of MN State Statute 347.52 (a) (attached). <br />If the hearing officer affirms the "dangerous dog" declaration, the animal must be immediately removed <br />from the city limits of St. Anthony (ordinance #1205.02).
