"Peddler" means a person who goes from house to house, from place to place, <br />or from store to store conveying or transporting goods, wares or merchandise or offering <br />or exposing the same for sale or making sales and delivering articles to purchasers. <br />lil =Subd. 2. "Solicitor" means a person who goes from house to house, from place to place <br />or from street to street soliciting or taking or attempting to tale orders for sale of goods, <br />wares, merchandise or personal services for future delivery or performance. <br />Subd. 3. "Transient Merchant' means a person who engages in any temporary and <br />transient business selling goods, wares and merchandise from a building, structure, <br />vacant lot, vehicle or trailer in a zoning district where it is allowed by this Code. <br />e2�rf ^The nonrefundable registration fee is set forth in Section 615. Any peddler, solicitor or <br />transient merchant dealing with merchandise to be delivered to customers in Minnesota directly <br />from points outside of Minnesota is exempt from payment of the registration fee. Any person <br />soliciting money, donations or financial assistance for a religious or charitable organization or <br />selling merchandise for a fee on behalf of such an organization is exempt from payment of the <br />fee, but is required to register with the City. <br />11-6 <br />
