Motion died for lack of a second. Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, that the status of "dangerous dog" be removed on the dog in question, with the status of "potentially dangerous" to remain. Councilmember Stille stated lie is very willing to revisit this in the future. He looks at this as hopefully being a temporary situation. Motion adopted unanimously. Mayor Faust informed Mr. Mackey that the dog can return to his home with the label of "potentially dangerous". V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. A. Presentation on Emerald Park and Resolution 08-057 Authorizing Close Landscape to Begin the Desi n Development, Construction Documents, Biddiny and Construction Administration for the Emerald Park Renovation Project with the Total Bndpet of $1,408,000. Jean Garbarini, Close Landscape and Doul Koehntop 'Parks Commission Chair. Park Commission Chair Koehntop introduced the item. He stated CLOSE Landscape has finalized the plans for the Emerald Park renovation project, which has been under consideration for the past three to four years. This project will significantly enhance the usability of the park. A motion was made and carried at the last Park Commission meeting to recommend to the City Council that the Emerald Park Renovation Project plan be approved and submitted for bids. Jean Garbarini will present the Council with the plans for the park. Mr. Koehntop thanked the Park Commission, Public Works Director Jay Hartman, and Couneilmembers Stille and Roth as liaisons to the Park Conunission. Ms. Jean Garbarini, CLOSE Landscape Architecture, reviewed the project location and presented pictures of the existing conditions at the park. She provided an update on the preliminary plan for the Emerald Park Reconstruction Project. She provided an overview of the work and associated costs of $1,407,836 according to the preliminary project plan. Ms. Garbarini reviewed the preliminary project schedule. She stated the residents are very active in this community and she has noticed heavy use at many of the parks in the community. Her impression is that the Village of St. Anthony is sort of a small town in a larger urban area. This park will bring yet another amenity to the residents. Councilmember Stille inquired about the size of the proposed building. Ms. Garbarini replied the plans are based on the footprint of the existing building.
