Project costs are anticipated to be approximately $84,000, which includes the total
roadway and water main reconstruction of the alley located immediately south of Croft
Drive and west of Old Highway 8.
Due to the insufficient structural condition of the existing roadway, poor drainage
characteristics, and deterioration of the existing watermain, this project is both feasible
and necessary from an engineering standpoint. Alternative methods of improving the
utility systems and roadways are not feasible or cost effective due to the location and
condition of the existing utilities and. the existing soils conditions.
Based on our analysis and data presented, the proposed project is feasible, necessary, and
cost effective from an engineering standpoint. We recommend reconstruction of the
watermain and the roadway as detailed in this report.
Feasibility Report
Arbors Alley Roadway and Utility Improvement Project
City of St. Anthony
WS/3 Project No. 1026-42
Page 9
