Autumn Woods Fire Update. John Malenick, Fire Chief; John Ohl, Police Chief; and <br />Rose Fitzjerrells, Autumn Woods, presenting, <br />Fire Chief Malenick provided an update on the February 13, 2009 fire at Autumn Woods <br />Apartments. He reported on the efforts of the Fire Department to extinguish the fire. He thanked <br />the cities of Columbia Heights, Roseville, Fridley, Minneapolis and New Brighton for their <br />assistance. He also thanked the Salvation Army, Red Cross, the St. Anthony Fire Department, <br />the property owners, and Autumn Woods Manager Rose Fitzjerrells. <br />Police Chief Ohl expressed his pride in the firefighters. He provided information on the goal of <br />the Police Department to support the fire fighters, which is done through crowd and traffic <br />control and setting up for the media. <br />Ms. Rose Fitzjerrells, Autumn Woods Manager, expressed her thanks to Chief Malenick, Chief <br />Ohl, and the City. She commended the teamwork of the Fire Department, Police Department and <br />Public Works Department and stated the City is 100% ready for a disaster. Within minutes <br />1 <br />
